A podiatrist, also called a doctor of podiatric medicine, is a specialist who provides medical diagnosis and treatment  of foot and ankle problems, including, but not limited to sprains and fractures, bunions, heel pain/spurs, hammertoes, neuromas, ingrown toenails, warts, corns and callouses.  A podiatrist also renders care for diabetic feet, infections and injuries of the foot, ankle and heel.

Dr. Malhotra is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Upon completion of her degree, she moved to Jacksonville, FL to complete her two year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. She spent a year working in Orlando as an associate, being accustomed to seeing a high volume of patients. She has been in private practice for herself for the past three years, and also currently works part-time at Ponte Vedra Medical Center in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.


Dr. Malhotra currently holds hospital privileges at Baptist Beaches Medical Center and St. Vincent’s Medical Center.  She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, the American Profressional Wound Care Association, the American Association of Practice Management and the Indo-American Medical Forum.
